At 62, after years of living a settled, predictable, and familiar life, I’m preparing to leave it behind and return to the road after 35 years — with my two rescue dogs, Abby and Sam.

Beginning January 2026, I’ll document the preparation for a minimum one-year van life journey: finding the right van, selling what I own, and letting go of a very cozy “comfort zone.” A routine that has started to feel a little too much like Phil’s life in Groundhog Day. 😊

Once on the road, I’ll share honest travel videos, photography, and conversations with people over 50 living outside the mainstream — by choice or by circumstance.
