Learning Home Volunteers works with low-income families with children ages 2 to 5. We work with them to help them get their children ready for school. Over the past 60 years, low-income children have entered school 18 - 24 months behind their peers. Our parents are exercising their agency to change this reality for their child. And in the past 3 years, each and every child that completed our program enter kindergarten ready. Every 3 weeks, we start a new learning session. Each learning session includes learning activities and 3 books that are read out-loud. This channel provides videos in both English and Spanish providing ideas on using the learning materials for the session.
